Ahmad Syarif

Ahmad Syarif is a doctoral candidate at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where his research focuses on the intersection of political economy and security. Before joining Johns Hopkins, he spent a decade at the Jakarta office of BowerGroupAsia, advising private firms on the political and regulatory risks of doing business in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
