Víctor M. Vázquez Rodríguez

Dr. Víctor Vázquez is a Puerto Rican scholar at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) whose research centers on Caribbean and Border Studies, Puerto Rico’s urban gentrification, and the social impacts of US federal policies. His work examines political economy, structural violence, poverty, militarization, drug economies, and everyday insecurity under austerity and colonial governance.
