Sarah Shoer

Sarah Shoer is Assistant Director of National Security Initiatives in the Office of University Affairs at Arizona State University and a lead contributor to the Agriculture and National Security Project, which examines food and agricultural systems as strategic infrastructure in geopolitical competition. She also serves as Managing Editor for  Inter Populum: The Journal of Irregular Warfare and Special Operations. Prior to joining ASU, she held roles at the Embassies of Qatar, France, and Canada. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Security from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in French Studies from Colby College. Her work has appeared in PRISM, Small Wars Journal, and Inter Populum.
