John Schatzel

John A. Schatzel is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and Assistant Professor in the Department of Distance Education, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He has been affiliated with the College for twenty-five years as an instructor of both resident and non-resident courses and as an advisor to an Army Reserve battalion within the Total Army School System (TASS).  He currently serves as lead instructor of the Unified Action (joint capabilities) course for the Asynchronous Distance Learning program.
