Ella Nightengale-Luhan

Ms. Ella Nightengale-Luhan is an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder with an expected graduation date in May, 2027. She currently studies Atmospheric and Oceanic Science with a minor in Writing and Public Engagement and hopes to pursue a career in environmental law. She is an intern through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) within the Energy Academic Group (EAG) at the Naval Postgraduate School, conducting legal analysis and energy research. Her research interests include legal environmental analysis, disaster response, and environmental impacts of Naval operations. Within EAG, she focuses on energy security and resilience, international law, and extreme weather events on installations.
