Benjamin Kurylo

Benjamin Kurylo is a Master of Arts candidate in Global Risk at Johns Hopkins University SAIS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, studying in a Russian-taught program. His research is influenced by his experience living in various regions of the world, which has informed his perspective on governance, political systems, and security issues. Benjamin has a particular interest in Latin America, developed through his academic research and professional experience, including his collaboration with Cristosal in El Salvador. He has published in policy journals, including Military Review, Irregular Warfare Initiative, and Nueva Sociedad.
