Turner Shaw

Turner Shaw is an Armor officer in the United States Army currently serving as a Cavalry Troop Commander in an Infantry Brigade Combat Team in Alaska. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, his experience includes extensive reconnaissance operations throughout 35 combat training center rotations as an OPFOR Platoon Leader at the Joint Readiness Training Center and as a Troop Commander at the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center. His research and writing focuses on arctic warfare, small-unit deception, and the role of junior leaders in complex operational environments.
