Timothy J. Williams

Lieutenant Colonel Timothy J Williams, US Army, is an instructor in the Department of Joint Interagency Military Operations at the Command and General Staff College. A graduate of Command and General Staff College and the School of Advanced Military Studies, he has operational experience with light, armored, cyber, and allied forces with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Lieutenant Colonel Williams’ recent assignments include Deputy Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities Chief of the 8^th Army in the Republic of Korea (ROK); served as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief of Future Operations, and  Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities Chief of the 2^nd Infantry ROK-US Division, assigned to the 8^th Army in the ROK; and as a Cyber Protection Team Leader and later Cyber Battalion Operations Officer in the Cyber Protection Brigade at Fort Gordon, GA.
