You can find the latest story and a very recent video at BBC News. BLUF: “One committed protester was at the front line when Greek police fired teargas at protesters outside parliament on Wednesday.” Here are some older YouTube postings:

… every protest / riot since 2008.

Loukanikos, the riot dog.

None can tame him. None can leash him. None can call him. None can heel him. None can stop him.

It’s just a stray having a good time and got used to these street protests where it can get some good food without having to beg!
As far the police they stand out with all the heavy gear and would make any dog uneasy and bark at them.
But yeah, the dog is bold and not to miss, the police are very tolerant too.

He would have been shot 17 times if it was in america.

Kyle

Send an American police officer over there, he will take care of it quickly.

Dody

Thank God he was born in Greece, where he wouldn’t be killed for protesting.

JustMax

The fact that anyone is proud that cops would shoot dogs here in the US is baffling.

Georg

Lucky bastard. My mutt was gunned down by cops during a raid on my house last year. They apologized and said it was the wrong house while I held ol Rascappo in my hands, riddled with bullets in a pool of blood. Did I mention I live in NYC?

Amy

@JustMax, just for clarification, the comments about American police officers shooting dogs are sardonic (in response to an unearthing of numerous recent incidents in the States where officers shoot dogs before finding out if they’re at the correct address).

brett

So awesome!

Damien

He’s wearing a collar. Kinda makes you think he might have an owner…
