“As world leaders prepare to attend the G7 summit in Canada on June 15–17, there is a significant opportunity to affirm an unwavering truth: The governments of G7 countries are elected bodies, and as such, are meant to serve their constituents. To respect human rights, human dignity, and the sanctity of life is not only a duty for these governments, but also the pinnacle of service to their people and to humankind. Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) will host a virtual roundtable discussion to mark the first anniversary of the international G7+7 Petition to stop forced organ harvesting and inspire the G7 leaders to call out the Chinese regime and initiate investigations.
For more than 25 years, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda, as well as political and financial incentives, has deceived the public, forcing many in the international community, NGOs, and media into self-censorship on the Chinese regime’s crimes against humanity. The CCP is attempting to silence the hearts and minds of more than 8 billion people, but this tyranny cannot succeed if we refuse to be silenced.
The roundtable discussion will be held on Saturday, June 14, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. Panelists include Professor Emeritus Maria Cheung, Canadian MP Garnett Genuis, survivor of religious persecution in China William Huang, human rights lawyer David Matas, Canadian MP Dan Muys, and DAFOH’s Deputy Director for Europe Dr. Andreas Weber.”

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has acknowledged using executed prisoners as a source of organs to supply China’s medical transplant centers until 2015. But mounting evidence indicates that China continues to use prisoners—specifically prisoners of conscience—for forced organ harvesting. Moreover, the U.S. government takes Beijing’s denials of such reports at face value, while the American transplant sector collaborates freely with China in trainings, educational exchanges, research, publications, conferences, and other partnerships. Hudson Senior Fellow Nina Shea will discuss this issue with Hudson Senior Fellow Nury Turkel and Dr. Jessica Russo. Both Turkel and Russo are noted experts in forced organ harvesting and the CCP’s other egregious human rights abuses, including against practitioners of the spiritual meditation group Falun Gong and the Uyghur Muslim population in Xinjiang.

Nobel Peace Prize nominees David Matas and David Kilgour investigate the organ harvesting trade in China and uncover one of the world’s worst crimes against humanity. For its exposé of highly profitable, monstrous system of forced organ donation, Human Harvest: China’s Illegal Organ Trade received a Peabody Award.
