Lance Gordon

Captain Lance B. Gordon, USN (Ret.) is a retired United States Navy intelligence officer with thirty years of service in both active duty and reserve components, including senior assignments in joint and interagency commands. He also served as a Partner/Principal at Ernst & Young LLP, leading international tax engagements. He holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, an LL.M. from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from the University of California, San Francisco, and a B.A. from San Diego State University (Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude). He has taught courses on peacekeeping and civil-military coordination in Iraq, Afghanistan, Nepal, Central Asia, Argentina, and Sierra Leone. He currently serves on the board of directors of Vets Advocacy. His research focuses on stabilization operations, multinational command structures, and audit integration in conflict environments.
