Adib Farhadi

Dr. Adib Farhadi, an economist by training, is an Associate Professor of Peace and Conflict at the University of South Florida, where he also serves as the Faculty Director of the Executive Education Program. His interdisciplinary research explores the intricate intersections of geoeconomics, geopolitics, and human dynamics, with a particular focus on the evolving dynamics of Great Power Competition across the “Silk Road” region of Central and South Asia. In addition to his academic appointments, Dr. Farhadi is the editor-in-chief of The Great Power Competition book series, Principal Investigator of the Bilateral Influence Capacity Index, and Faculty Advisor to the Global and National Security Institute.
