Middle East Institute Security Fellowship Program

|
The Middle East Institute is now accepting applications for the 2026–27 Security Fellows Program — a selective, yearlong opportunity for mid-career professionals shaping the future of Middle East security policy. This non-resident fellowship offers direct engagement with senior policymakers, mentorship from leading experts, and opportunities to contribute to MEI’s research and analysis. Fellows will join a dynamic cohort and participate in monthly seminars featuring top voices from government, the military, academia, and the think tank community. If you — or someone in your network — are looking to deepen your impact in national security and foreign policy, we encourage you to learn more and apply. Applicants must be US citizens roughly between the ages of 25-40 with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience. Applicants should also be based in the greater Washington, DC, region and able to commit to participating in the majority of sessions. |
