The threat of Chinese invasion has long loomed over Taiwan – and there’s a new intensity to that pressure. Taiwan is self-governing and democratic. China sees it as a breakaway province and wants reunification. The election of US President Donald Trump has further fuelled decades of speculation about a future conflict over the island. So, how is Taiwan preparing for a possible war? Sky’s Helen-Ann Smith travelled around the island to find out.
