SWJ Admin Note – Moving on Thursday

On Thursday, Small Wars Journal will be migrating to its new server and undergoing the biggest site upgrade in over 10 years (maybe more). You can expect some downtime – maybe 2-5 hours at most – knock on wood. The new site will not look much different from the current version – of significance are all the “fixes” on operations that SWJ has been slapping band aids on for years.
And yes, the signup problems many have experienced when joining SWJ or the Small Wars Council should be a thing of the past. This problem has been most annoying to many – SWJ has repaired this numerous times in the past – only for the fix to be fleeting at best.
