Landpower: An Update
Many Thanks!
Since we announced Landpower (a website optimized to view from a smart phone, tablet, or computer; hosted by the United States Army War College) on Small Wars Journal we have seen an increase in visits and we say thank-you.
Updated Landpower Features
There are three key articles I would like to highlight for Small Wars Journal readers this week:
First: Strategic Landpower Task Force Research Report. Dr Steven Metz’s progress report of the ongoing actions of the Strategic Landpower Task Force (Amy, Marine and SoF) in Washington DC.
Second: Washington’s Debt, Beijing’s Bubble, and the Discussion No One is Having. Ian Button discusses US debt implications for China and Washington and where this may all be heading.
Third: State Collapse, Insurgency, and Counterinsurgency: Lessons from Somalia. Somalia has been the prime example of a collapsed state. Dr J. Peter Pham examines the situation in order to draw out lessons from both failure and success of the counterinsurgency efforts in Somalia.
