This is not the only firm doing this kind of business, I think he is being singled out for no good reason.

Given the CIA track record on weapons of mass destruction, I think we can use all the help we can get. If this guy has a good network, why waste it?

What is your guesstimate of the net worth of AWK? Around 100 million?

No, this is a follow on story. This "operation" lost it's government funding before...

This is old news. Wasn't his operation already shut down before?

Matt:

It's ironic that you condemn Clarridge's perfectly legal but biased international information gathering operation while reading the information from another legal but biased international information gathering organization.

Despite Mr. Clarridges keen interest in undermining Afghanistans ruling family, President Obamas administration appears resigned to working with President Karzai and his half brother, who is widely suspected of having ties to drug traffickers.

I'm not sure what this is meant to imply -- that because Obama is working with Karzai, that Karzai is good to go? Or that Clarridge's efforts are futile?

Just what we need - more "true believers" like North and this idiot who thinks America can do no wrong (all the while doing wrong, compromising and delaying actual intelligence operations), all the while sullying our reputation both inside the country and across the world, doing idiotic things that are actually hurting our national/homeland security.

They need to shut this clown down. The last thing we need is morons running around out there, possibly interfering with actual intelligence operations, possibly compromising them.
