There was a great demand for Dr. Kilcullen's latest book,
Counterinsurgency. All that book signing was thirsty work; fortunately,

I finally got around to viewing this and I wish I had done so sooner. It was one of the most interesting and insightful things I have seen.
Two examples of many, many points gone over-how the French alpine troops in Afghanistan decide who to whack and why and what FM 3-24 actually was, why it doesn't contain some things, how that can lead some astray and it's an old book.
A completely fascinating presentation.
