Nathan Springer

Major Nathan Springer is an active duty armor officer with multiple tours in various command and staff positions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Following his Troop command in N.E. Konar and Eastern Nuristan Province, OEF 07-08, he obtained an MA in Security Studies, National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School. He then served as the Chief of Operations at the U.S. Army and Marine Corps Counterinsurgency Center. Most recently, he was a member of the Art of War Scholars program at the Command and General Staff College graduating in June 2011. Currently, he serves as the Executive Officer for 3rd Squadron, 4th US Cavalry (TF Raider), 3rd BDE, 25th DIV currently deployed to Eastern Nangarhar, Afghanistan.
