Gus Gusentine

BIO

Gus is a retired United States Navy Captain with 28 years of service. He was selected as one of ten senior officers to serve on the Chief of Naval Operation’s Strategic Studies Group before closing out his military career developing cyber resilience capabilities on the Joint Staff.  He lectures regularly on leadership, irregular warfare and strategy and is a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow with the Council of Independent Colleges. He serves on the Board of Directors for Elsie’s Hope, a non-profit corporation devoted to providing sustainable access to clean water and is a dedicated artist who enjoys painting in oil and watercolor.

Gus is currently researching freshwater scarcity worldwide and creating a new company, I2 Strategy and Development.
