Dr Josiah Kaplan is a Research Fellow at Oxford University’s Humanitarian Innovation Project, where he continues his doctoral work on issues related to non-Western military actors, US foreign policy, and international peacekeeping. He has experience working with ODI and a range of humanitarian and UN agencies, including UNDPKO, UNDP-Sierra Leone, UNICEF, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and Médecins Sans Frontiers – mainly in Africa. Josiah has worked with Beechwood on an assignment instigated by the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Pakistan and at Wilton Park conferences.
