1LT Alexander Frank is an Infantry Officer currently serving in 2nd Cavalry Regiment.  He holds a Bachelors of Science in Physics from Duke University. He deployed to Maiwand District, Kandahar Province in support of OEF 10.  While there he held the dual role of a Platoon Leader and Governance and Development coordinator.  He managed development funds while also working with the civilian district governance team.
