A conversation with Lieutenant General William B. Caldwell, IV, Commanding General of the Combined Arms Center at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.

The story of the lieutenant and 18 men and women sounds much like the Krulak 3-block war metaphor. Sound so much like it that the story leaves me in disbelief (at least suspicious). Also, with a complex, ever changing environment, how can Lt Gen Caldwell say this is a blueprint for the next 10-15 years? Finally, is "nation-building" what 3-0 is about as Charlie Rose suggests (and Gen Caldwell affirms)? I do not se "nation-building" anywhere in the new FM.
