LTC “Mat” Hammons is an Army Strategist currently teaching in the Department of Joint, Interagency, and Multinational Operations at the Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. His most recent joint experience was as a planner in the contingency plans section, J54, at U.S. Pacific Command where he earned his keep leading and participating in many joint planning groups.
