Richard Burchill is a Senior Research Fellow at the Bussola Institute, Brussels, Belgium. Prior to this he was the Director of Research and Engagement for TRENDS Research & Advisory, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Previously he was Director of the McCoubrey Centre for International Law at the University of Hull, UK. Dr. Burchill has advised, researched, and taught on a wide range of issues in global governance and human security.
