Captain Daniel Phillips is a Marine Corps Infantry Company Commander deployed to Darwin Australia on his fourth deployment in ten years. He has deployed as a light infantryman, infantry advisor, Helo-borne Company Commander and a Headquarters and Services Company Commander. Captain Phillips has served in combat and is a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Expeditionary Warfare School. He is the author of a Proceedings article on helicopter-borne operations and has another article selected for publication by the Marine Corps Gazette.
