Colonel Alex MacCalman is an Army Special Forces Officer in the Operations Research System Analyst Functional Area. While assigned at USSOCOM, he was the Chief Engineer for the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit Project and is currently the Director of the Joint Acquisition Task Force. He has a PhD in Simulation Analysis, an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a BS in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy.
