Combat Women and Congress’s Wimps

Combat Women and Congress’s Wimps - Washington Post Op-Ed by Kathleen Parker.

Arguments favoring women in direct combat are perhaps well-intentioned, focusing on fairness, opportunity and pride in certain women’s abilities. Unfortunately, most people who make those arguments are operating on false assumptions. And, shall we say, mis-truths.

I don’t place much stock in the arguments against having women in combat roles. It does not matter if there is parity in how much weight females can carry, how far they can carry it, or if they can beat an average man in a hand-to-hand fight. All these arguments seem to miss the point. Combat is about shooting, moving, and communicating as a team. Whoever does it better, wins. It does not matter if the finger that pulls the trigger is male or female.

These opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of the U.S. Army.

Outstanding article by a SME. This Cultural Marxist idea that Women fighting on a battlefield will somehow become more equal or better Women is just plain crazy. The whole idea of America is to be free to be unequal, to be free to be different!!!!! But that seems to completely escape the Demo-rats and some Repuba-cons.
