Tony Waters is a Professor of Sociology. Between 2016 anad 2022, he was Professor of Sociology at Payap University’s Peace Studies Department, Chiangmai, Thailand. He recently moved to Leuphana University in Germany. Previously he was Professor of Sociology at California State University Chico for 25 years.. He is the author of eight books, and many articles in academic and popular venues. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand from 1980-1982.
