Michael Keen is a Robert T. Jones, Jr. Fellow at the University of St. Andrews. From January-July 2018, he worked for the Atlanta-based members of the Mali Independent Observer team at The Carter Center. He is currently writing a book on the use of social media by the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA) during its rebellion, 2012-2015.
