David James lived and worked amongst the Afghan people in the Hindu Kush mountains providing marketing and public relations support to economic development initiatives. He has also worked as the Senior Strategy Manager for the strategic communications division of Afghanistan’s largest media group, providing communication services to the British and US embassies and other strategic customers. Prior to returning to Afghanistan as a civilian he served on two tours of the country with the British army being awarded the QCVS for the second. He has also served in Baghdad and Basra.
