Major James Moran is a United States Air Force Intelligence officer. He is currently studying irregular warfare at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. His thesis is a study of the utility of COIN in countering AQAP in Yemen. After his graduation in December, he will be stationed at the Air Force Special Operations School in Hurlburt Field, Florida.
