Philip Ulrich is a graduate student at the University of Southern Denmark, studying American Studies. He is currently writing his masters’ thesis on the influence of the Vietnam Syndrome on the American Army following its “rediscovery” of counterinsurgency. He has a BA in History from the University of Copenhagen.
