CW2 Christopher Wilkerson is assigned to an Operational Detachment – Alpha in 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group in Okinawa, Japan.  He completed the Special Forces Qualification Course as a Medical Sergeant in 2002 prior to volunteering and selection as a Special Forces Warrant Officer in 2010.  To date he has conducted combat operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Philippines, while conducting FID, COIN and SA operations throughout SE Asia.

Colby K. Krug is a captain in the U.S. Army.

Colin Jones is a second-year Master's Candidate at the Elliott School of International Affairs, specializing in U.S. Foreign Policy. He graduated in 2010 from the University of Virginia, with majors in History and Foreign Affairs, concentrating on the Middle East. He lives in Northern Virginia.

Colin Robinson completed his doctoral work with Cranfield University in March 2012. Previously he worked for the New Zealand government (Army Force Development and Ministry of Defence), United Nations (electoral missions in Georgia and Liberia and HQ DPKO in New York, as well as briefly with the Office for Defence Force Development, East Timor), and military-related policy research institutes (International Institute for Strategic Studies, and Center for Defense Information, Washington DC). He was awarded his MA in War Studies by King's College London in 2001, and a BA (Honours) (First Class Honours) by Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand in 1999.

Craig Astrich is a Senior Manager Audit and Enterprise Risk Services where he is focused on Technology Risk for Intelligence Agencies within Deloitte’s Federal practice.  Craig has 17+ years of experience serving a wide variety of Federal (Defense, Intelligence, and, Civilian agency) and Commercial clients. In these engagements he led integrated teams, while developing new capabilities and new service offerings. Prior to Deloitte, Craig served as a Senior Leader at Booz Allen Hamilton for 13 years leading cyber teams across Federal Defense, Intelligence, & Civilian agencies while driving new/emerging capabilities.  These capabilities focused on IT Infrastructure, Computer Network Defense (CND), Security Automation, mobile device security, security engineering, and security program management. 

LTC (R) Craig Whiteside served for twenty years in the United States Army as an infantry officer and retired in December 2011.  He is currently the Claudius and Mary Johnson Graduate Fellow at Washington State University in International Relations.  He lives in Pullman, Washington with his wife and three children.

Crispin Burke, an Army Aviator, is a Major at U.S. Army North.  He administers his own blog, Wings Over Iraq. 
 

D. Stiegman is a Non-Commissioned Officer with the US Army. He has served as an Infantryman and Intelligence Analyst for the last 10 years. He has operated in Asia, Europe and North America, with deployments to Kosovo and Afghanistan.

Colonel Eikmeier retired from the Army after 30 years of service as an artilleryman, joint planner, and  strategist.  His assignments include duty in Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and the Middle East.  Campaigns include Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.  He has taught at the School of Advanced Military Studies, the US Army War College, and the Army Command and General Staff College. He holds a Masters in Military Arts and Sciences, a Masters in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  COL Eikmeier has written widely on military theory, Islamic terrorism and a variety of other military subjects in Parameters, Military Review, the Middle East Quarterly, Aerospace Power Journal, Army magazine and the Air Defense and Military Intelligence Journals.

Damon Tor Armeni is a United States Army Captain completing his Masters in Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia.  He served three tours to Iraq in various command and staff positions.

Dan G. Cox is Associate Professor of Political Science at the School of Advanced Military Studies, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  Dr. Cox has published in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Peace Research, Parameters, The International Journal of Public Opinion Research and Congress and the Presidency.  Dr. Cox’s work has also appeared in journals such as Joint Force Quarterly, Terrorism Monitor and Small Wars Journal.  Dr. Cox’s work was cited in Foreign Policy Magazine online and the Straits Times of Singapore, the Bangkok Post, and the Somaliland Times.  His current research interests include identity and conflict, armed nation-building, counterinsurgency, terrorism, strategy and military planning, operational art, and security issues in Asia and Africa.  Dr. Cox is also a featured blogger on E-International Relations.

Dan McCauley is a National Defense University assistant professor at the Joint Forces Staff College located in Norfolk, VA.  Prof McCauley is a retired United States Air Force  pilot and has served in various course director capacities such as air operations, strategy, and theater campaign planning.
