Scott D. Lathrop, Ph.D., CISSP, is SoarTech’s Director of Cyber and Secure Autonomy. Previously, he served as the Director of Advanced Capabilities and Technology (J9) at US Cyber Command where he led the command’s research and development. Scott is a former Armor/Cavalry and Army Functional Area 53 Officer, a distinguished graduate from the United States Military Academy, and has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. His research interests include AI/ML, cognitive architectures, cybersecurity, and autonomous unmanned systems.
