While not normally covered in our National Defense and Foreign Policy forum, I feel the need to express our total distress concerning the Connecticut elementary-school shootings. Looking at the photos of those bright-eyed children, with all the hopes and anticipation for the future, just makes one shake their head in disbelief. Our prayers are with the families, as inadequate as they may be in this time of extreme sorrow. - Dave D.
