V1 is immediately seeking a senior executive to join the core leadership team. V1 seeks an executive who is knowledgeable and experienced in the federal government services industry and who can help grow the business. Position Description – Senior Vice President
- Business Development. Generate new revenue from new contracts and new customers. Responsible for running business development process from start to finish
- Program Management. Lead and manage numerous existing prime and sub-contracts and leverage current relationships/contracts to increase revenue (and profitability) from existing vehicles.
- Company Leadership. Participate on leadership/management team at V1. Contribute to all major company business decisions.
Skills / Requirements
- BA/BS, Masters Degree strongly preferred
- 15 years overall work experience – at least 6 years of specific defense contracting experience in the government services sector
- Experience performing full range of business development activities with clear evidence of success (won specific programs / generated specific revenue)
- Experience leading / managing programs with clear evidence of success in program management, contract management, quality control, financial management, increasing profitability
- Military experience. Experience in Intelligence and Special Operations is strongly preferred
- Ability for extreme multi-tasking. Ability to excel at multiple projects simultaneously under sever time constraints. Very heavy workload requires significant time commitment.
- Ability to accomplish above tasks personally / independently with very limited guidance or resources.
