Open Thread for a Saturday Night... and a Few Tunes

Sat, 08/08/2009 - 9:36pm
Seems like a decent thing to do around this one-horse town... It's been a hard day's night...

... and some twist and shout at Shea - 1965...

... and of course, Saturday night is alright for fighting...

... especially with one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer...

... and not to forget you Eileen... I said too-ra-loo-ra-too-ra-loo-rye-aye...

Hey Dave, kinda late but finally thought of something to Rap about. About a week ago I sent you an email about Major Utley(think I called him Hutley but kant spel stuff sometimes) did he ever write a part 2 to his article on the technique of Small Wars, in particular did he talk about establishing Military Guvmint? If there is a part 2 can it be posted somewhere?

Good tunes.

About the upfront chord in a Hard Day's Night - Chaaaaaang!...:

The first chord that starts A Hard Days Night is one of the most recognizable and famous opening chords in rock & roll. Its played by George Harrison on his 12 string Rickenbacker.
