27 May SWJ Roundup

Keep the Roundup (the Journal, the Blog and the Council) Going AND Get a Nifty Coin to Boot

It's zero dark early and while putting together this latest SWJ news roundup I have to ask why the effort? I don't have an answer to that so I'll just stop this time intensive endeavor for the moment unless I get indications otherwise - that it is valued and worth supporting. This SWJ feature (albeit an aggregation and not original content) is one of the more popular and most visited. So why the hesitation in throwing in fifty tax deductible bucks? Thanks much to those who have contributed; this is not directed at you. I'm serious about our requirement for funding to keep this thing going - and not just the "roundup" - I'm talking the whole enchilada.

Mr. Dilegge: I have relied on the SWJ Roundup to keep myself and my colleagues (whether retired or still active) informed on a daily basis for the past year or so now. It is, without a doubt, the single invaluable daily update which crosses my screen. I am greatly indebted, and will accordingly make a first time donation to SWJ in order to keep the flagship afloat.

Thank you for putting this together every day. I read it every morning, Monday through Friday. You all do a fantastic job-believe me, I read the News for 3 hours every day and this is by far one of the best sources of news that I have ever found on the Internet. Thank you for what you do.

The Daily Roundup is my "staff briefing" that I wake up to at 0400 everyday. It prevents me from getting tunnel vision into the specific unit focus at work. I will turn in all of my aluminim cans this morning and purchase the coin. Where is today's Roundup? Thanks for the daily efforts.

Dave: Keep up the fire! Don't give up the ship!! We need SWJ! We are all just a bunch of ingrates by not contributing for the great service you and the SWJ team provide. But so many of us depend on you and the contributions SWJ has made are recognized and appreciated even if we do not adequately demonstrate our appreciation.

I wish I had money, loads of money, if only it were to every now and again support some friends whose existence really make a difference. SWJ, you are one of those.
