Dave LaRivee is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the United States Air Force Academy.  He retired from the Air Force as a colonel in 2010 after serving as a combat analyst during initial operations in Iraq, directing an effects assessment survey team in the summer of 2003, and leading the Strategic Assessments cell, Multi-National Forces-Iraq, from 2007 to 2008.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Operations Research and a Doctorate in International Economics.
