Angus E. Goldberg

Dr. Angus E. Goldberg is an independent scholar with a doctorate in modern history from the University of St. Andrews.  He specializes in naval history, and has been recognized for his contributions to the field with various prizes and fellowships, including the US Navy Historical Center’s Vice Admiral Edwin B. Hooper Research Grant.  He is currently engaged in a wide-ranging research project relating to various forms of asymmetric warfare and 4GW modes of conflict.

Uncertainty has led to a proliferation of definitions for Russian hybrid operations, including such terms as ambiguous warfare, grey warfare, non-conventional warfare, and political warfare.
